Job Title: Assistant Construction Manager - Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction

Responsibilities:

• Prepare comprehensive engineer submissions, including accurate and detailed field installation and submission drawings, using AutoCAD, BIM, and Bluebeam software.

• Review and evaluate submittal documents, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, standards, and regulations.

• Order and manage materials, specifically DI, PVC, and SSTL piping, required for water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure effective project coordination and timely completion.

• Utilize field surveying equipment when necessary to support project activities.

• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in construction management and engineering techniques.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering Technology is preferred.

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater treatment plant construction.

• Proficiency in using AutoCAD, BIM, and Bluebeam software for preparing field installation and submission drawings.

• Familiarity with ordering and managing DI, PVC, and SSTL piping.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to review and analyze submittal documents effectively.

• Experience with field surveying equipment is a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.
