\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
\n\nOpportunity:

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts with 36 hours per week requirement
\n• Alternating weekend schedule
\n• Patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1 (occasionally 3:1 depending on acuity)
\n• Travelers float to all areas as needed
\n• ICU experience required
\n• Must have experience with titration of vesicant medications, familiarity with pressors, sedation, and paralytics
\n• Required skills include experience with vents, trachs, telemetry interpretation, understanding of hemodynamics and PA catheter setup and interpretation
\n• Advanced desirable skills include IABP, Impella, and CRRT
\n• Work with equipment including vents, telemetry, Baxter IV pumps, IABP, CRRT, Impella, and hypothermia devices
\n• Procedures performed on unit include cardioversion, central line insertion, EGD, bronchoscopy, chest tube insertions, pericardiocentesis, and thoracentesis
\n• Use Cerner documentation system
\n• CCRN certification recommended but not required
\n• Work in 16-bed unit with RNs only (no HUC or PCT support)
\n• Dress code requires all navy or navy and white scrubs (no pullovers, hoodies, or green scrubs except when soiled)
