Our client is an organization in the greater Milwaukee area looking for a Senior Accountant. This company is looking for someone with 3+ years of accounting experience, strong communication skills, and high attention to detail. This position is hybrid.

The salary range for this position is $80-$100k.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage general ledger activities including journal entries, account reconciliation, and month-end close activities.
• Prepare, analyze and present financial statements.
• Oversee grant tracking and reporting.
• Partner with leadership team to resolve finance and accounting issues.
• Assist in the preparation of monitoring of the annual budget and monthly forecasting.
• Monitor and strengthen internal controls.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

The Senior Accountant will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or closely related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
