Job Summary Retail Loss Prevention Detective – Full Time at Boscov’s Department Store, LLC. Job Responsibilities As a Loss Prevention Detective, you will guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules and support the retail operations team. Providing loss prevention support and awareness through policies, procedures, and personal involvement Providing surveillance and assisting police with apprehensions of shoplifters Conducting store opening and closing procedures Performing safety audits, fire prevention inspections, and other safety checks Answering alarm responses Performing insurance inspections and investigations Qualifications Successful candidates will have effective communication skills, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and the interpersonal skills required to work with customers, management, and coworkers in a dynamic retail environment.
