Job Title: Remote Pharmacist

Location: Deerfield, IL
Employment Type: Temporary, Remote
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $50-$60 per hour

Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Illinois Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team in a remote capacity. This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care and regulatory compliance. As a Remote Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant medication dispensing across remote operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and completeness in prescription processing and dispensing.
• Oversee record keeping and licensing to maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Review and update pharmacy protocols to align with regulatory standards.
• Communicate with remote pharmacists and customer service personnel to verify order entries and resolve issues.
• Maintain required documentation, including exception reporting.
• Support continuous improvement by contributing to procedural updates.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, JCAHO standards, and applicable regulations.
• Perform other pharmacy-related duties as assigned by the Board of Pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with remote teams.
• Flexibility to work Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.
