The Part-Time Assistant to the Athletic Director provides administrative and organizational support to ensure the smooth operation of the school’s athletic programs. This role assists with scheduling, communication, recordkeeping, and event coordination, helping the Athletic Director manage day-to-day operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide administrative support to the Athletic Director, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
· Assist in coordinating athletic events, games, practices, and transportation logistics.
· Maintain accurate records of student-athlete eligibility, physicals, and compliance documentation.
· Communicate with coaches, parents, and students regarding schedules, events, and program updates.
· Help prepare reports, presentations, and athletic program materials as needed.
· Support the coordination of athletic facilities use and equipment inventory.
· Assist with budget tracking, purchase orders, and expense reports.
· Perform general office duties including filing, data entry, and answering phones.
· Provide on-site assistance at athletic events when necessary.
Qualifications
· Previous administrative, office, or clerical experience (school or athletics setting preferred).
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace.
· Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
· Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends to support athletic events.

Compensation
· Part-time, hourly position.
