Title : Mechanical Engineer - Nuclear Industry
Location: Remote or Hybrid in Naperville, IL / Atlanta, GA
Hire Type : Direct Hire (2 openings)
Salary : $100K - $120K
Benefits: Full benefits package

Sterling Engineering is partnering with a client to find experienced Mechanical Engineers. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects in the energy sector while working in a flexible remote or hybrid schedule.

Job Duties:

• Provide expert advice on design processes and construction methods.
• Evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems for quality and efficiency.
• Approve work schedules and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with customers in detailed technical discussions.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school.
• Must have working knowledge of Nuclear Quality Assurance Standards.
• Familiarity with codes, standards, and regulations for nuclear power plant design.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without visa sponsorship (now or in the future).

Schedule:

• Remote (excluding West Coast).
• Naperville, IL: 2 days per week in office.
• Atlanta, GA: 1 day per week in office.
• Occasional travel to client locations as needed.
