Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival and thank them as they leave.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating assignments to balance service flow.
• Escort guests to their tables, provide menus, and introduce them to their server.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently when serving.
• Answer menu questions, provide recommendations, and upsell specials.
• Deliver orders promptly and ensure food and drinks meet quality standards.
• Anticipate guest needs, check in regularly, and resolve concerns quickly.
• Process payments accurately and handle POS transactions.
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand, entryway, and dining area.
• Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or server preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• TABC and Food Handler certifications (or ability to obtain prior to start) required.
