Job Overview Math Interventionist at Evergreen High School, part of Jeffco Public Schools in Colorado. The role focuses on providing one‑on‑one and small group support for students in Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II. Base Pay Range $56,000.00/yr – $75,000.00/yr Hours and Days Worked Annual position, exempt. Full‑time (1.0 FTE), 8 hours per day, 185 days per year, FLSA: Exempt. Responsibilities Orient students to coursework and communicate course requirements. Employ asynchronous and synchronous tools to supplement course content. Create and deliver live and recorded instructional sessions. Maintain regular office hours for one‑on‑one and small group support. Augment course content through remediation, modification, and enrichment. Partner with special education staff to implement IEPs, ALPs, and 504 plans. Set deadlines for student work and grant extensions as needed. Attend face‑to‑face meetings with students and parents/guardians on schedule. Grade student work, enter grades into an online gradebook, and provide course grades. Communicate with parents as needed. Collaborate with other instructional staff. Administer school‑wide assessments including CSAP, ACT, and Acuity. Conduct student/parent/teacher conferences. Attend (virtual and physical) and actively participate in all required staff meetings and professional development. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience Experience with curriculum, assessment, staff development, and online learning. Experience using technology to support teachers and students in educational technology initiatives. Awareness and application of a guaranteed and viable curriculum. Current understanding of culturally responsive teaching linked to achievement for all students. Demonstrated success using technology to ensure students’ technological literacy. Education and Training Valid Colorado teaching license or certificate. Advanced degree or comparable experience in content area. Skills, Knowledge & Equipment Proficient in classroom and online implementation of best instructional practices. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of district technology and proficiency with Blackboard. Ability to lead online learning, interpret assessment data, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to change. Willingness to learn new technology and work a flexible schedule. Demonstrated leadership skills and willingness to be a contributing member of the school.
