Hiring a Business Analyst with experience in Fintech or the Financial Services industry & process mapping experience

Onsite: M-F in Downtown St Pete

Compensation: $90,000-95,000 + 15% yearly bonus

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for financial systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and improve product features and workflows.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to support strategic initiatives.
• Map current & future-state processes, identify inefficiencies
• Assist QA and UAT processes by reviewing test cases
• Data analysis to identify trends, measure process performance
• Generate reports and dashboards
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3 or more years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within the Fintech or Financial Services industry
• Strong understanding of financial products, services, and industry regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in process mapping, process improvement, and operational optimization.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficient in business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Excel, SQL).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience working with APIs, digital wallets, payment portals, or blockchain
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
